Management Model

In applying Legislative Decree 231/2001, Salini Costruttori adopted an Organisational Management and Control Model. Its basis is the company’s Code of Ethics and it is inspired by the Guidelines provided by Confindustria and the Code of Conduct approved by the Association of Construction Companies, ANCE.
On December 16 2011, the Board of Directors of Salini Constructors has approved a new update of Organisational Management and Control Model and Code of Ethics, in order to fit them with the legislation development and the widening scope of the types of crimes that lead to the application administrative liability provided by Legislative Decree 231/2001.
The main objectives of the Model include:

  • identification of operations carrying risk;
  • the provision of a system of procedures and checks, in advance and after the fact, with the aim of reducing the risk of improper conduct;
  • development of the awareness of those exposed to risk connected with unlawful acts, the consequences, including criminal, and of the serious damage to the company in the event of conduct that does not comply with the directives of the said Model, the Code of Ethics and other regulations and corporate procedures, as well as the laws in force.

The verification of the actual application of the Model is entrusted to a systematic monitoring operation, carried out by the Supervisory Body.

The provisions established by the Model must be observed by all employees of the Salini Group, as well as commercial partners and outside consultants. To this end, the Model provides an ensemble of communication and training to allow those it is aimed at to know both the rules to be followed and be aware of the individual responsibilities of each person.
