The test done on the third unit Turbine, an integral part of the hydroelectric plant that Salini Costruttori is building in Nigeria along with the Gurara Dam, closed successfully.  Subjected to a manual check  without a generator, the turbine reached 92% of its rotations with a positive outcome.
Construction is proceeding on schedule. The finishing touches are about to be completed. The village of Maji is now hooked up, and the output from the Power House transformers is connected to the 20kV power line.
