The first edition of the international "Libyan Railways Exhibition and Conference", was recently held in Tripoli, organised in collaboration with the Libyan Entity for the Execution of the Railways Project.
The event was opened by the Libyan Minister of Transport Mohamed Zidan:  more than 40 exhibitors from international companies with proven experience in the field of railways took part in the conference.
There were a number of interesting seminars in the programme, which looked mainly at the latest technological developments in the sector and on opportunities for investment.
The Salini Group is already present in Libya with certain important projects and recently won another new contract.
